About the event
Our efforts toward a renewed community look will begin today as we gather to clean trash along Elm Avenue in Rocky Ford from 2nd Street to 15th Street.
With the 142nd Arkansas Valley Fair beginning on August 14th we can lead an initiative to improve the look of this strip of town and welcome our out-of-town visitors to the oldest continuous fair in the State of Colorado.
Volunteers are asked to bring work-appropriate clothing, gloves and water to stay hydrated. We will provide trash bags and bag pick up.
Gather at the Welcome to Rocky Ford monument at 2nd and Elm Avenue. Teams will then continue east along both sides of Elm Avenue.
We look forward to kicking off The Small Town Project's first of a future of projects dedicated to enhancing the economic and social vitality in Rocky Ford to improve the quality of life for residents of our community.
